What We Need

• Candidates with excellent GCE ‘A' Level / Polytechnic results who also possess CCA records that demonstrate leadership qualities
• Pursuing all fields of study preferably engineering discipline - NTU Renaissance Engineering Programme or NUS Global Engineering Programme (excluding Medicine, Dentistry and other healthcare related disciplines)

Value of Award

Each scholarship will provide for:

• Tuition and hostel fees
• Annual and other relevant allowances
• Reimbursement of airfares and accommodation fees incurred for university exchange programmes

Scholars will be required to serve a bond of 4 years with the SIAEC Group of companies upon completion of studies.

Selection Process

We shortlist our scholars through a comprehensive selection process to ensure the integrity of our Scholarship scheme so that only the best suited candidates are selected. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews and candidates may be asked to undergo selection tests such as aptitude tests to gauge analytical skills, behavioural profiling and leadership potential.

Embark on an exciting career as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer with us and you’ll be part of a worldwide team of engineers and specialists that ensure the safety of passengers and uphold the airworthiness of aircraft.

To join us as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you need to enrol in The Singapore Institute of Technology’s (SIT), Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Aircraft Systems Engineering (ASE), a 3-year degree programme, developed in collaboration with SIAEC.

Upon completion of the degree programme, eligible graduates will be able to join SIAEC as a Trainee Aircraft Engineer (TAE) and undergo a 28-month training programme (TAE Programme) to qualify as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.

Outstanding Year 2 ASE students may be considered for the SIAEC Trainee Engineer Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to them in the 3rd year of the degree programme.

Eligibility

• Singapore Citizens
• Year 2 students enrolled in SIT ASE programme
• Excellent academic results
• Outstanding CCA record with achievements demonstrating strong leadership qualities
• Passion for aviation and engineering

Value of Award

• Cash award of $10,000

Condition of Award

On completion of their courses and TAE programme, TAE scholars will be required to serve the SIAEC Group for 5 years.
